We both had the pleasure of working with Davy in Dublin City Council for more than a decade. His energy and enthusiasm were legendary and we learned so much from him over those years.

Betty, Peter, Anne and Helen I am sorry that I was unable to get to my former colleague Davy’s funeral Mass in Bayside this morning. I was however able to watch the ceremony on line.
Davy lived all aspects of his life with energy and enthusiasm. That was reflected in his achievements in local government and in his sporting life particularly golf. His pride of place though was his family-Betty, the 3 children and now grand and great grand children.
