Dear Uncle David,

I am sorry, I didn’t know that you were ill. With this message, I will keep my promise and reach out to the Irish side of our family.

To Uncle David's family, I am David’s nephew, Christened (Manuk). I have an Armenian mother (Anahid) and brother Grigor (Greg). My father (Michael) is David’s older brother. My mother, brother and I emigrated to England many years ago.

I am a great believer of building relationships. I am in touch with David's niece, my wonderful cousin Helen. I do not give up hope and pray that one day, I will meet the Irish side of our family.

Uncle David, please give us your blessing, as you look down upon us. For you are in our prayers.

Your nephew, Arthur (Manuk).
