Dave... you were a one off!! I'll treasure the memories of wonderful conversations in Brennans and The Palace Bar! We never fully agreed on music haha but you always showed me respect and kindness in a way that set you head and shoulders above the ordinary. My condolences to all your family.

So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. i've many fond memories of him from our band (cheapskate) playing gigs together with Stomach.As young Kilkenny punks coming to the big smoke where the older local punks weren't always so friendly...then there was Dave and the Stomach boys cut from a different cloth very welcoming no pretentious nonsense with them lads, just real good eggs! I haven't seen Dave in years.The last time was a random meeting on a train journey , I can't even remember where i was traveling to but i do know it was nice there sitting in the carriage with Dave catching up sharing jokes i'm glad our paths crossed that day and in life RIP. My deepest and sincerest condolances. Dave taught me how to place a rugby ball for a free kick when I was about 8. I havent seen him in 36 years, but still look back fondly on our games of rounders, all the kids out in the street together. Very sorry for everyones loss.
