David was a gentleman and just a sweetheart. His wit, charm and brilliant sense of humour made listening to his many stories all the better. He was one of the good ones.

Dave was a truly reliable and thoughtful person, his deep solidarity and compassion for the people of Gaza was testement to the type of person he actually was.

We know he loved his family immensly and that he was a tower of strength and support to his friends.

Dave was inspirational, calming and reassuring. His sudden passing will be a terrible loss to his family and indeed his many friends, and to ourselves, his comrades in solidarity.

Rest in eternal peace Dave, you will always be remembered.

My Deepest sympathy to all the Martin family at this very sad time.
I got to know Dave when I first moved to Rothe Abbey many years ago.
We shared an interest in Horses. I remember one time Dave and Dylan had a trotter horse they brought into RA, and they let me have a spin on the sulkey. Such happy memories. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
