David (Dave) Moloney

My sincere sympathy on the passing of David. I had the pleasure of working with David in Church & General for many years. He was a gentleman and a pleasure to work with.

Dear Máire, so sad to hear of Dave's passing. My thoughts are with you and your five children during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave in the same underwriting team at Church & General since the 1980s right up to his retirement. He was very knowledgeable, witty, and popular with all his work colleagues and we loved his company. He taught us, by example, how to relax and not be too serious and enjoy our work. I'm saddened at the thought that he is no longer with us.

Saddened to hear of David’s death. I remember him from our young days. He was always a little ahead of the rest of us – full of nice ideas, theatre lover, with a strong sense of all things cultural. More thoughtful than the rest of us, he has left a trail of happy memories behind. These far-off days were made just a little brighter by his presence.
