Shana & Rory, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Although I only knew Dave for some years in the 90s I will always remember him fondly. He was fun, kind and always made people around him happy. I will always remember his cheeky smile when I think of him.

I find it hard to believe he is not with us but I hope your pain lessens with time and happy memories guide you on.

I worked with David at Juniper and McAfee and we are all so sad and shocked to hear of his sudden departure. My heart reaches out to you and I send my deepest sympathies at this very sad time. I will always remember Dave as the kindest of men in the tough corporate world. I have not seen Dave for some time, but my memories of him are always with a smile and laugh, and will remain as such...
It was too soon, but all his Values are for sure now with Rory, that will have a great example to follow.

Shana and Rory, Becca and I were so, so shocked when we heard the news of David's passing (although he will always be "Smallie" to me). Dave and I have known each other since the mid-90s, and spent so many fun times together. I will always be grateful to Dave for inviting me to join him at Oktoberfest back in 1997 - and we went together every year since. So many laughs, so many stories - some of the best days of my life have been with Dave and the rest of the crew in Munich - and I have him to thank for that. Rory, we only met briefly, but I want you to know that your Dad was always so incredibly proud of you whenever we spoke long into the night. I will miss him so much, and I will be buying him a beer in his memory next Oktoberfest.

Shana & Rory, I knew Dave in the 90s and had the pleasure of both working with him and of many a good night out with mutual friends sometimes staying at his place in Chiswick. We lost touch as happens but I have fond memories of those times of a decent man a good friend, I'll never think of latin american bars without him.
