So sorry to hear of David’s untimely death. May he Rest in Peace. I remember him very well when I worked in the Burlington Hotel over 30 years ago. He was a quiet, gentle and lovely person. Totally devoid of ego and very down-to-earth. Condolences to his family. ❤️🙏🏻

David was a true gentleman, and I feel very lucky to have worked with him during my time at the Westbury when I was in college. I remember the refurbishment of the hotel so clearly, David was always there, taking care of the finishing touches with such care and pride, side by side with the team. What stood out most was his kindness. He always took the time to ask how you were and have a genuine chat, no matter how busy the day was.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing through a dear family friend Michael Browne. It brought me back to the time I knew David through his friends in Annabel's many years ago and we all had great fun. I remember he was a gentleman and always courteous. I recall one Summer's evening in 1989 when a few of us went to a memorable outdoor concert in the stadium and he got us all there very swiftly from the Berkeley Court. I was delighted for him that you both met as I recall his pleasant surprise to me when you did and that you went on to have many wonderful years together. David's legacy lives on through your family.
