David Duncan

I first meet David when I went to visit my mam in High field. He would be sitting o the bench with his ear phones on listening to his music. He would automatically take them off when he saw me and ask me how i was and how was my day. He was always in great form, had a smile on his face and full of great words of wisdom. Most evenings we would have a chat either on my way in or my way out. I have only just heard of his sudden passing and so very sad to hear the news. My deepest condolences to his family. You should be very proud of him he was a lovely person. Linda

I met David while my daughter was at Highfield - everyday when I went to visit her - he was there, sitting on the bench outside with his headphones on and listening to his music. He’d remove them, have a chat with always an encouraging word and he radiated warmth and love. Anytime he saw you in the coffee shop, he’d come over for a chat and say hello. He was remarkably kind to my daughter, who really needed it, on a daily basis. She had so many good things to say about him. He was a kind, gentle and genuine man who radiated goodness. We are both so sad to learn of his passing. Our hearts go out to all of his family. May he rest in peace and fly with the angels.
