Dearest Mary, Lisa and the Earlie family, I was in St. Brigid s with David and have many fond memories of those early years in Kerrymount. David had an infectious smile and although I hadn’t seen him for many years I am greatly saddened by the news. This is a testament to the true gentleman David was from a young age. I only just heard that my son Gregory knew David in their college days and that they met up again bringing their children to creche. Mary, you were always so kind to me about my son Stuart. I’ve so many memories of fun times and shenanigans with David over years, all of us growing up in Dublin. He was always a core fixture with so many different groups. Liked by everyone and involved in everything. I haven’t seen David in a long while as have been living abroad but he always had a strong impact on many lives with his powerful character. May his family get the strength to get through this desperately sad time. David, you’ll never be forgotten.
