I have very fond memories of working for the Boss,

Sincere condolences to your extended family, David. I only learnt a few days ago that you had passed away. I didn't know you long, but we recently shared the same ward in the Royal Hospital in Dublin and were full of plans for the future. You will live on in the memories of those who knew you and if there is a life hereafter, then we shall meet again. Farewell. old friend.

Deirdre we only received the news this morning. He was a tower of strength and so wonderfully supported by you. We were one of the many lucky people to have enjoyed the company of a very special person. I still chuckle when I think of his remarkable humour. I am reminded of the many occasions when we shared the hospitality and wonderful company on both sides of the road in that part of Gorey. Club tonic will never be the same!

Deepest condolences to all the Bolger family so sorry to only hear of "The Boss" Passing. Such a lovely gentleman man in every sense of the word. I loved working in Bolgers he always had the biggest smile and the jolliest of laughs when he would come into the office every morning. RIP MR Bolger 😢

We were very sorry to hear of David’s death. We both have fond memories of him in the business in Ferns and his involvement in IGFA. David was a great businessman and a true gentleman and we send our sympathies to all the Bolger family.

I have such find memories of David since my childhood. Our family connection gies back to when David and my father Kieran were boys. One of the best days I had with David was 'Panning for gold' in the hllls, not getting any ...and going to the shop, melting metal, spraying it gold and claiming we found it. Great fun.
