We were so sorry to hear the sad news of David’s death. What a lovely man! Enjoyed many pints, epic pool tournaments, games of snooker back in the Town Hall, brilliant conversations be it in Sea View when Mammy would be visiting his beloved mother or up in his world famous bar. His company was always generous and you’d look forward to meeting him. It was great that my proud Clontarf wife Elaine got to know him the last 20 years where he would regale with tales of his younger days. They were very cheap nights in the bar for us.
