David (Harpo) Hilliard

Rest in peace David.

We are sorry to hear of the loss of David.  'Harpo' is a name and person we will not forget. 

He was always welcoming to the related families that arrived back to Ireland to visit, sometimes for the first time - including my own. 

David, my Auntie Tess and the rest of the Hilliard family are an outstanding, kind and caring family.  We offer you all our condolences and deepest sympathies with the loss of David.

It's with deep regret we learn of the passing of Dave Hilliard.
As much a part of Walkinstown as the roundabout.
A gentleman in so many ways.
A deep and thoughtful man , he was always ready to help.

He was as familiar on a ladder or under a canopy as he was at the window, looking out over the parish.

For many years, he helped with taking down the Christmas tree and chopping it into logs.
There are some in the garden of the house yet.

He had a place in the hearts of many , our own family included.
A very fond farewell Dave.
We will all miss you .
