I would like to offer my sincere condolences to David's family and friends. This has come as a complete shock to me after finding out yesterday. I knew him as Aaron and we had become very good friends after being in Fair City many years ago. He had a searing wit which often put a smile on my face. He came to my wedding in 2016.

We met up in London earlier in this year and he talked about wanting to move to Spain. I remember distinctly, the last time we talked was while I was away with my wife on holiday just a few weeks ago.

Again, I offer my condolences.

I am so, so sad to hear of Dave's sudden passing. I have lovely memories of him from when I lived in London. A gang of us would go to Dave's flat, listen to Van Morrison, laugh like drains; and try to put the world to rights over a few scoops. He was so talented, and modest with it. A kindly and sweet man.
