So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I worked with him from the time he started in AGB. He was one of the nicest guy’s I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, a true gentleman.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave over many years from AGB to Avantor. I always enjoyed our chats especially about travel. We enthusiastically shared updates on countries we had each visited and planning for future adventures. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

I had the privilege of working with him for 14 years in AGB Scientific, and I will always remember him as a kind, gentle, and quietly thoughtful person. He brought a calm presence to every situation, and I have fond memories from the time we worked together. We learned with great sadness of Dave's early and very sudden death. RIP. Dave was a seminal and central figure in our Calibration Department and contributed significantly to its success. His many talents, unassuming
personality and great ability to relate to and communicate with colleagues and clients alike ensured that all tasks and projects were successfully completed. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues and many friends . We extend our sincere sympathies to his family .

He was always more than happy to answer any question and guide me in the right direction, and he was a true fountain of knowledge in every conversation we had. His hard work and dedication resulted in AGB achieving many accreditations (as Mary said some "Firsts" in Ireland). I worked alongside Dave in Tech Services and I got to know him quite well on our trips to Bristol.
Dave was one of the smartest people I have ever met, he was generous with both his time and his knowledge, he was genuinely one of life's good guys.
He always had time for a chat and we talked often about his many travels (past and planned), dogs (his and mine), his woodworking projects, the tools he had bought or was planning to buy and his fondness of a good scone.
He was very proud of his nieces and their achievements and spoke about them often.

I will miss his gentle company, as will everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

So very sorry to hear of Dave's death. I hadn't seen him for many years, but have fond memories of our times working together in AGB calibration & technical dept and Dave working so hard to achieve various accreditations for the company, some being "Firsts" in Ireland. I remember too that Dave loved his dogs, his travels and his photography and he was a kind and supportive colleague.
