I did not find out I was related to the Kilpatrick family until I was 70 years old. I live in the United States and though I never got to meet David, I felt I knew his goodness through the word of family cousins, with whom I’m in touch, and of whom spoke with such pride and respect for David and his family. When I learned of David’s passing, I felt deep grief, because I knew then I would never know the pleasure of his company. My sincere condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace.
