This news was absolutely heartbreaking - I’m sending my most heartfelt condolences to David’s family following this tragedy.

I briefly worked with David and I absolutely loved his generous and kind attitude - and willingness to make this a better world. A rare person to say the least.

All my sympathies in this difficult and sad moment. Wishing you strength and sending you all my love.

Dear Neasa, Ruadhan, Odhran and Finn (and to your extended family). I am shocked, saddened and numb. I only met David once in person over a three hour lunch in Cork just a few months ago on April 17th. In more ways than one, he had an immense impact on me, to the point that my entire family now knows who David Latten was, and what he stood for, and what he was made of. He dropped me to the airport in your family minivan to the airport, and he spoke so fondly of what family meant to him. Even though I have never met any of you, please know that every day since I heard the news, you have been in my heart. When we interviewed David last year, he told us, "We will have an impact on this world. What we aspire to do is make sure that impact is a positive one..." That not only applied to his company and procurement team, but also to him as an individual. David's impact was most certainly positive and he will be greatly missed. I am so sorry to hear this, we met through zoom and David was so supportive of a small business like mine.

There are no words or reasons in a situation like this, I lost my mum suddenly and unexpectedly and for the family you just have to find a new normal without him, the memories will never fade.
