We would like to convey our most sincere sympathy to Rachel and to the extended family on the very sad passing of our friend and former colleague, Dave.

A very popular and well liked person, Dave will be fondly remembered in Brussels by friends and colleagues alike. Working with him at Eurocontrol over many years was a pleasure - he was a great ideas man and could happily bring his ideas to fruition for others to benefit from and enjoy.

It's with deep sadness that I read of the death of David. He was a regular caller to the shop to visit my mother, who was a first cousin of his mother, Maureen. They were also very good, life-long friends. I had some great chats with David myself over the years. He was full of energy and new ideas. He never stood still. My deepest sympathy to Rachel, Yvonne, Mary, Margaret and the extended family. May David rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to David’s family at this time. I had the pleasure of working with David recently for a few years at Cook Medical. He was always enthusiastic, friendly, and a great team-player. I truly enjoyed the times we got to share dinner together in Limerick when I would visit from the States. Those times were always filled with laughter and joy. And they usually included a tale or two of David’s days abroad in Europe, or lessons learned in hospitality or air-traffic control. Good times. May David’s family be blessed and comforted during the days ahead.
