To Suzanne and extended family, my deepest condolences on Dave's passing. Dave was a giant of a gentleman, his sense of humour and willingness to help others stands out. When struggling with IT issues, Dave's calm demeanour and expertise sorted the issue promptly and with good humour. I am sure you will miss him greatly, may he Rest In Peace.

Its taken me a long time to be able to write this, I've worked with David since my first day in Irish Life and he immediately made me feel welcome and part of the team.

I have fond memories of all the breakfasts, table tennis, pool and nonsense we spouted together.

I will miss all the times we spent chatting about Liverpool while games were on, from the Premier League triumph over covid while we were locked away to the Champions league final.

I have a tacky trinket David brought me home from Loch Ness a few months ago I will now forever treasure.

You will be missed.

My Uncle David was a great man who took care of me during three critical moments of my life, while I was stationed in California, traveling through Arkansas, and before I left to go to Iraq. We spent time together and it was great to be with family again. We used to wrestle on my grandparents floor when I was a kid. He picked on me and did all the things a big brother would do, even though he was my Uncle. I am praying for Susan and all who knew him. I was so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was such a gentle soul, always a pleasure to be around and had a way of putting a smile on everyone's face.
He will be deeply missed.

So very sad to learn of David's passing. Always willing to drop everything to help you out. If he couldn't talk you through it, he'd land over to the desk in minutes to save the day. A proper gent and really nice person to be around. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him, am so very sorry for your loss.

I didn't know him too well in Irish Life but he always made me feel better for engaging with him, with his uplifting demeanour, sense of humour and willingness to help. May he rest in peace.

Dave was a pleasure to deal with and always had a smile for everyone. I am glad to have got to see him briefly at a recent event where he again was beaming. A shock to lose him so young. RIP Dave.

Still find it hard to visit this link, I spent many mornings having breakfast in work with Dave, he was interesting, had a big heart and looked out for other people, I consider myself lucky to have been his friend as I know many other people in Irish Life would feel the same, Dave has left a big void, he is sorely missed already, his family and partner should be very proud of him and the impression he left on people, ar dheis de go raibh a h-anam

I worked with Dave in Irish Life and was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a kind man, I will remember him and his cowboy boots fondly—my deepest sympathies to Dave's entire family.
