I was deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. Sincere condolences to David's extended family and friends. He was a thorough gentleman and will be sadly missed by his many friends but especially his much-loved family. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear of David’s untimely death. David was just a gentleman, with a great intellect, kind & funny and a wicket sense of humour.! ! David always spoke so proudly about his family ,I know he will be desperately missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. R.I.P

I was so sorry to hear only today of the passing of David. I met David over 40 years ago when he came to teach in Sacred Heart school in Killinarden. He taught with me in junior infants and he was loved by all- students, parents and staff .He was a kind and gentle man .

Just heard the very sad news of David’s passing and sending condolences to all whose lives he touched. Judging by the Condolences list that was many!
I had the pleasure of teaching with David in the late 70’s/early 80’s in Killinarden, Tallaght and regularly gave him lifts to school. It is obvious that he never lost his kind, gentle, fun loving nature throughout his life which has been too short. A huge loss to all who have been fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to David’s family and extended family and friends. I met David 4 years ago at various self development workshops. He was a genuine lovely man with a kind and caring heart. We had many phone conversations since then, he always spoke so fondly of his family and the delight his grandchildren brought him . I certainly am saddened to have lost a lovely friend. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Condolences to all the McCurtin family. Very saddened to hear of Mr. McCurtin’s passing. Even though it’s been a long time since he was my teacher he’s a man that had a positive impact on me and someone I learned a lot from.
