I was lucky enough to play with Dave, Ken and Derek with Palmerstown Rangers. Good times and too brief. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Daves passing. Always had a smile on his face. Deepest sympathies to all the family. Rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of both playing with Derek and being his manager.Along with Dave and Ken they were a formidable trio. Derek was a great captain and leader and straight talker. I always let him take the half time team talk,he was such a great motivator. Condolences to all the extended family. I hope the passing time is gentle with your spirit and kind to your memories of Derek.

Lorraine, I find it hard to put into words how very sorry I am to hear David has passed away. What a heartbreaking loss this is for you and all your family. He was a tremendous team player, a thorough gentleman, and no doubt a devoted son, brother, husband and father. I hope and pray you can all find the strength to deal with this awful blow. Dave and all the McArdles were such a strong part of the community and especially the football community in Palmerstown.
