I am deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. He was such an instrumental person in my life during my teenage years, and I will always be grateful for the kindness and guidance he showed me.I have so many fond memories of sitting at his kitchen table with him and Pat, sharing a cup of tea and talking about life. Those quiet, meaningful conversations meant more to me than I can express. He had such a big heart and made everyone around him feel welcome and valued. Please know that my thoughts are with the McElroy family during this difficult time. His warmth and generosity will live on in the many lives he touched, including mine.
