Niall, Eimear and Sarah I wish words could take away your pain and loss. It’s no hidden secret that David was the most incredible friend and gentlemen to everyone he met . It doesn’t seem long ago that we where all celebrating his 18th. Truly the life of every party he knew how to make everyday special and exciting.

My favourite thing about David is how he brought people together. He never let anyone feel left out or alone. His heart and kindness never stopped growing. We learned so much from him and he created so many wonderful moments for us all growing up.

I can’t believe he is gone but he will be treasured in many hearts including my own. It was an honour to call you a friend David. I love you so much and miss you beyond measure. Your life was a blessing to us all. Rest in peace my dear friend.

For every year, month, day, hour, minute and second I spent with David, I will be forever grateful. Niall, Eimear and Sarah there is not a word in the English language that convey the magnitude of my sympathies.

RIP David McGuiness
Very sad to hear about the passing of another schoolmate. I remember a teacher once saying to us, “4 or 5 of you lads won’t see 40 – whether it be one thing or another,” and we all laughed, thinking he was mad. But now, this is the fourth person from our year to pass away, and we’re only in our 30s.

David McGuiness was a lovely chap – quiet, always polite, and easy to talk to. I didn’t hang around with him much, but we’d chat on the school bus, and he was always sound.

Very sad news. Life is short – love it to the full.
