I was so very sorry to hear that David has passed away. His speaking and singing voice was always mellifluous. He was a good friend of my Dad and my mother had a bit of a crush on him all her life! I often met him in Wilton shopping centre on a Saturday after his radio programme on CUH FM and had to give my verdict - always good! He's singing with the angels now
We were very saddened to hear of Dave's death last week. He was a popular and much loved member of the Mcinerney and Hoban families in Limerick. He was always happy to come to Limerick for any family occasion and the family were always glad to see him. May he rest in peace and our thoughts are with him family at this time.

I will never forget him singing me to sleep with Fiddler on the Roof's "If I were a rich man" because I couldn't sleep with all the noise and singing from downstairs with the "Cork Crowd" in our house in Dublin. The most lovely man who kept in contact after my Dad's death. He is resting eternally now with his beloved Mary.
