I knew David for over 25 years and during my time in Carlow CBS I would have gotten to know him very well. Spent many a day & night in his company walking home from Carlow town to pollerton where we were neighbours. David was always full of fun, and devilment ( the good kind ) and his wit was legendary....I will always remember that , and his cheeky grin! A really nice guy who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May he Rest In Peace

To all the Menton family and especially my dear Uncle Frank and Aunt Marie, There are no words I can write here to ease all the pain you are suffering from the sudden loss of your wonderful son. We could feel the love you had for him and his family when we were just together and looking at pictures. I am praying that you find peace and smile at all the happy memories you have . My heart is breaking for Sophia and his beautiful children . So wish we could be there with you .
