Very sorry to hear the passing of David. I never met this gentleman but I am sure he will be remembered for the wonderful legacy of being one of the founding members of the Samaritans. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear of David's passing and so proud to have known and worked with such a gentle and supportive wise man. I have fond memories of hill-walking and bird-watching in Lesotho in the early eighties. David's name is recorded in the University of Roma in Lesotho as the first person to have identified in Lesotho a bird called a Paradise Flycatcher.
