David pretended to be my fiancée and made sure I was ok and we'd a great laugh for the night after and though we didn't keep in touch to often I was proud to call him my fiancee whenever we did see each other..so caring so kind with a heart of gold may you rest now David never forget you x

We came to know David during his few months in Kenmare before his decision to move to Cork, often chatting, passing on the streets while David would be heading to the pier on many a sunny day taking in the scenery of the town along the way, David would pop into our home for tea occasionally and just like his father became a good neighbour.
