Deepest sympathies to Trisha, relations and friends.

David was a thorough gentleman. He was caring, always ready at the end of the phone and a great listener. He was quick witted and no doubt would have some humorous slants on what we have all said in the condolences.

He supported so many people in a myriad of ways. I heard someone remark, 'how did he fit us all in?'.

The world was a safer place with David in it. He has left a crater in all our lives. The only consolation though is he often remarked he felt so grateful for all his friends and relations. He looked forward each day to meeting up with the various people in his life.

He is profoundly missed.

Now cracks a noble heart. Good night sweet Soldier:
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!
A few years ago, I found myself very badly in need of a friend… and there was Dave. I hadn’t met him before, but I soon learned that he was almost magic; he was always there for me, sometimes even before I knew I needed him. I never had to ask. I know he did that for many people, and many knew Dave far longer than I did. But I know his kindness, his generous heart, his gentleness, will stay with me as long as I live. And I will miss his friendship more than I can say.
