Davids character is his legacy and his values, ethics and principles are his legacy through his children and grandchildren, The principles instilled in them influence their life, by nurturing these values David created a lasting impact that extends beyond his life.

we played rugby together from under 13teens to sct in 1964 in st marys.we cycled home from practice in kennilworth.some times i would be invited to dinner. what a treat.we seperated after school as i joined the holy ghost fathers but met again for your wedding.later when i needed part time work you came to my rescue.met up again at our 50th year left school but sadily missed the 60th.Always felt if ever i had a need or help you were a friend indeed.may you rest in peace

Condolences to Sabena and the Power family on the death of David. My abiding memory of David was his concern for a blind man who regularly attends 8.00 Mass on Sundays in Mount Argus. David used accompany the blind man to Holy Communion and lead him back to his seat in the body of the church. May he rest in peace.

David was an incredible warm , charming , witty and a decently honourable gentleman who will be greatly missed. Fond memories of the time we were stranded in Gran Canaria 1982. David as bookies leader served the cause well. Sincere sympathy to all the Power family.
