R.I.P
In life Dave was an unassuming kind person. He gave pleasure through his gift of guitar playing to many music lovers. Dave was a great musician that was in no way interested in stardom or ego. He expressed his gift and shared gracefully and freely with us music lovers. Go now in PEACE, good soul.
May David rest in peace.

Thinking of you all
Kindest regards.
Noelyne.
I'm so very sad to hear the news about Dave. To Malva, Naoimh, and Adrian, and the rest of his dear family and circle of friends, my sadness is nothing compared to yours, I can only offer my really heartfelt wish that the music of David's life lives on in yours. Such a rare gentleman I had to pleasure to play with both home and abroad, and such a small but genuine friendship we shared. I'll remember Dave always for advice he gave me when I carried my own struggles. We didn't see each other often, but I am thoroughly honoured, and privileged to have been his friend in a small way, and hugely honoured to have stood on the same stage in his embracing shadow. Your music lives on David. Bless you, and thanks my friend.
Great memories of the Band playing in the Carlton
