It's with great sadness that I learned of Dave's passing. A truly genuine bloke who managed to be a friend to many in his time in Iarnrod Eireann, I for one was enriched by knowing him. My Sympathies to his Family

Shocked and saddened to hear of David’s passing . I loved being in school with him , such a sense of humour and a great sense of fashion and individuality.I had the pleasure of spending time with him at 2 school reunions, may he rest in peace.

I was so terribly saddened to hear of David’s passing. Great memories come to mind of all the good times and enormous laughter we shared at school. When I think of David I recall his zest for life. He just exuded enthusiasm, excitement and energy. Such a wonderful friend even if it was many years ago. Memories are forever and David will never be forgotten. Sleep well David.

I am so very sorry to hear of David's untimely passing. He was a great friend from Malahide and Mt Temple. He was caring, thoughtful and generous with an acerbic wit and wicked sense of humour that made him such great company. We had the best of laughs together.
