David and I met some time after both had retired , when all we had to offer each other was a very simple friendship, that had no agenda for either of us . We did not even share similar backgrounds. This was a very pure and genuine friendship , that I valued highly and will miss always. Kay joins me in extending our sincerest sympathy to Niamh and family, and Goodbye to the very gentle gentleman that we knew for such a short time.

A little bit of his light will shine on with everyone whose days he brightened.

We were so sad to hear of the death of Dave. He was a joy to be around and a Jazz Gig with Dave, Niamh, Owen and the rest of the Sutton 'Jazz Heads' was always a treat. Once after seeing Cian in Arthur's Dave phone me to see if I knew where to get a couple of the CDs! How ironic.
Niamh, Nicky, Garreth and Cian, Dave was so proud of you all.
We will miss him a lot.
Gari & Brian Deane

Dear Niamh,
What a beautiful Mass and tribute to David! And also to you and all the family.
I was already in CGs when David arrived, and we immediately hit it off together, and became good friends, through thick and thin. Cian summed up his dad perfectly, and when David decided to change and reform, he could not have achieved it without your support. He suffered so much over the last few months, but, he is at peace now, and I'm sure in a place from where he can continue to support you. God Bless,
Roy
Sincere condolences to Slim's family. Have so many fond memories of Slim's input to Room 13 in 39/41 Dame Street. Always wonderful company and a real gentleman. My Condolences on the loss of David. He was a nice person with a good heart.
I want to wish the family a lot of strength during this time.

Sending my thoughts and condolences to the Boylan family. Rest In Peace, David.
Niamh, Nicky, Cian and Gareth, I was so very sorry to hear about David - the always smiley and kind "Mr. Boylan" and the source of so many hilarious SGC stories at the dinner table and such great friendship for Mum and Dad. My deepest sympathies and warmest thoughts to you.
My deepest condolences to Niamh, Nicola, Gareth, and Cian as you grieve. David will be so missed. His warmth and generosity were just that touch roughish without ever being invasive, a particularly open heart that seemed to only expand with each new generation and reiteration of the family. So greatly loved which speaks to the measure of the man, and such good company, which reflects a life well-lived. Rest In Peace, David.
So sorry to hear of David’s passing. Many fond memories of teenage years at number 13. Since then we’re grateful to have bumped into David on numerous occasions at Minetta and also on West Pier during lockdown. Always greeted by that great smile. Deepest condolences to you Niamh, Nicky, Gareth and Cian. He will be missed by all. A true gent. R.I.P. David.
