Our heartfelt sympathies to Brian , Fionnuala and extended family on the loss of David.

Sincere condolences to all Dave's family and friends. David collaborated on a film project with RADE (a community arts project for people affected by drug and alcohol issues, where I work) in 2019. He had to step away from the project because of his health. He was great to work with and had an easy rapport with our group. I was in contact with Mick Egan, RADE's director, now retired, was also very sad to hear of David's passing. So condolences on behalf of Mick, all the RADE crew, and myself.

My deepest sympathies to all of Daves family and friends. A gentle soul and a gentleman. Rest in peace, Dave, you are sadly missed.

Thinking of Dave brings a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. He will be fondly remembered for his irreverence, his fun and his boundless energy. He was a good soul. My condolences to Dave’s family and wonderful friends who were by his side to the end.

So sorry to hear this news. Dave embodied a singular energy, an irreverent approach to the world's demands that I'll not soon forget. And clearly, I'm not the only person whose life was enriched by his presence. I'm grateful for the times our paths crossed and we could share some of time's whiling-away together.

One of a kind - a gentle soul who was always so sweet. Your happy face will be forever be in my thoughts. You were much loved David.

My sincere condolences to Martin and all Dave’s siblings and family. Dave was a seeker, a risk taker, one of life’s natural disrupters (chaotic neutral in D&D terms). He was great with kids who instinctively got his irreverence and sense of mischief. And when he was on his game, there was no one, no one funnier. I am deeply appreciative of his many friends who stepped up in Dave’s time of need.

David , from way back to our Trinity days , you were truly one of a kind . So missed and so loved .

So, so sorry to hear of David's passing. We had a few japes and lot of laughs together in the early-90s...
