Dave i hope your at peace ,your witt and smiling face will never be forgotten.The large turnout at both your removal &funeral was an indicator at the high respect and love people had for you .Everyone swapping stories of the fun you brought to friends and family .You left behind broken hearts ,but your inspiration to us all will help .Babs done you proud when she stood up and read out the letter to you from the altar.I cant imagine the smiles your bringing to people in heaven ..Until we meet again cousin....

My deepest condolences to all of Daves family & friends.. He was an amazing person and im delighted i had the honour of knowing him. He was so funny and without a doubt had everyone around him in fits of laughter. Thankfully i will have lots of memories of him.

Dave was an incredible character he had the ability to light up a room with his big smile and make us all laugh with his mimicking of different people. A light has well and truly gone out. David was a wonderful work colleague and friend. He was kind, permanently good humoured and I feel genuinely privileged to have known him. He was indeed a very special person.
In terms of his amazing talents at making us laugh with his spot on impressions of everyone that he encountered, we all have so many memories that a little of him will live on as long as we can recall and tell the many stories he featured in.

So very sad to hear of David's passing. Dave was a work colleague and a friend who had the ability to light up a room. He made me laugh and cry (with laughter). I am sure everyone has a story to tell about Dave.

A shining light has left this world and no doubt he will continue to shine above us.

It is with great shock and sadness that I learnt of David's death. I worked with David in Foreign Exchange in First Active and the laughs that David braught to all our lives are indescribable. His mimicking of different people including Danial O'Donnel made him quite famous in the company. My condolences go to Barbara and entire family. My taughts and prayers are with you.
