Debi Reynolds

Sorry to hear that Debi has passed away.

It was all due to Debi that Mary, Help of Christians GNS had the opportunity to sing at the 1916 Commemoration Mass in May 2023. It was a wonderful occasion for the School Choir and all the staff involved. Debi always dropped in the invite to the Carol Services in Arbour Hill also. We will miss seeing her crossing from mass in the mornings.

So sad to hear that Debi has passed.She was an inspirational woman! As a student in Stanhope Street it would sometimes be my job to collect the roll copies for her and then when I worked as a teacher there you knew better than not to have your copies filled out properly and on time!! As a principal now I fully appreciate how organised and meticulous she was! She was always so lovely to me whenever I met her through the years and I have very fond memories of her as will many of my friends in the area who knew her as a part of our Stanhope St history! May she rest in peace!

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Debi Reynolds. She played an extraordinary, if discreet role in the life of the Defence Forces and the State. Her creative floral displays have adorned some of the most significant State Commemorative events held at Arbour Hill, added colour to the weddings of so many serving personnel and added dignity and solemnity to the funerals of so many. Her sacred spaces in Arbour Hill, McKee and Bricin’s aided us on our journey through the Liturgical year. Her devotion and commitment to faith was an inspiration to us all and she brought such exceptional and exacting standards to all aspects of her life. We will miss her presence dearly. A months mind mass will be offered for her in the Church of the Sacred Heart, the Church of the Defence Forces on the Feast of the Assumption, 15th August @1000hrs. May she Rest in Peace. Paschal

Debbie was a beautiful human with a loving caring nature. She had a great sense of humour and I can still hear her laugh as I type. Debbie wrote all my invitations for my wedding as she had the fabulous hand writing and it had to be written properly, she was an encyclopaedia on etiquette!! She was a great friend on my mams and our family!!

Debbie you will always be remembered with fondly, may you rest in peace.
