So very sorry to hear of Declans passing, only hearing now. So many great memories of some great get togethers. May he rest in peace.

I was amazed at how Declan and myself shared the same music taste. Van the man, Christy Moore, Planxty and many more.
The love of all for Declan as the man that brought water from Finglas to the then wild west was clear. The DIY guru and the two sons who I have not seen since the cult talks at Huntstown Community School. What great women in their lives. All I know in coming to the funeral I had to record the Munster vs Connaught match on TG4. The Irish drives me nuts as only 1.39% speak the language. Declan definitely would have disagreed with me.

It was a great victory for Munster in McHale Park Castlebar, Co. MAYO.

But the icing on the cake for Declan was the Leinster victory against the Sharks in Durban.
We can think about him again as Croker will be filled this Saturday with Leinster playing against the Harlequins.

I spent sometime in Declan’s company many years ago and have always remembered it with a smile we had some great times he was always a gentleman so sorry to hear of his passing my sincerest condolences to Mary and family.
