Its been Many Moons since I saw Deco. I always inquired about him over the years. Such a lovely gentleman. so tall and great energy to be around. I can see his smile and hear his laugh. Dear Ann, Katie,Valerie, Linda and all the Day Family, I only heard today with great shock about the passing of Declan . My deepest condolences to you all.

I lived next door to Declan as did my mother and grandparents for many years in McCormack Gardens. Declan was a good and kind neighbour and I remember having great chats with him across the hedge out the back garden . Declan was a true gentleman and was always ready to help you with something if you needed it and would always stop and say hello.

Rest in peace Declan. You were the best neighbour a person could have and I will always remember the great conversations that we had. I will say a prayer for you tonight, God bless Declan.

Dear Linda, Valerie, Ann & Catherine,

I just heard about your Declan.

I am sitting here thinking of when we were all together and when I would come with Derek and David. They would be waiting for Declan to come in to play with them in the garden out the back. My mam and dad loved him too. Those days are lovely memories for me.
