I just received the awful news today that Declan passed away. I have not seen Dec in over 20 years since I left London but he left me with great memories of fun and laughter. I often tried to look him on Facebook and Google but could never find him. I always believed that I would meet him again somewhere.
Declan was part of the crew in Heston, London and ran a few pubs. I had a few great road trips with him to celtic and ireland football matches with memories that bring a smile to my face.
I am delighted to hear that declan was a father and was happy back in his native Donegal.
Declan was one of the best, a kind and genuine man with such a positive energy. I hope he is resting in peace.

I met Declan through comedy. I can't remember how we initially made contact. Declan promoted a lot of gig's around Donegal and some in Derry. I was involved in nearly all of them. I have great memories of those times, for various reasons. We had a really great time doing those gigs. Declan was a character, full of fun and energy. I often think of those times and I am very saddened to hear of Declan's passing. I offer my sincere condolences to Declan's family. May he continue to promote laughter! R.I.P Declan and keep laughing.

Declan was a Huge part of our Irish community here in London Shepherd’s Bush, especially Us Donegal Crew.
He was one of our best ! Always welcoming accommodating full of fun and looked after us all individually..
Declan had a special talent!
Which was too care about his own, and anyone who crossed his path…
I have so many memories and some of the best times in my life in Declan’s company.
I meet my Husband down to Declan and I’m 22yrs in !!!
I’m from Donegal heritage, he never had the Donegal twang!! Lol but he had the history and the heart…Then moved back home and I actually bumped into hiM IN BUNCRANA !!
He was delighted about his child he had and was telling me all about that and how he was so happy and I was delighted for him …
And another time in Buncrana on holidays I bumped into him pushing his little one in the pram near Lidl’s.. I jumped out and we talked about the good times in Shepherd’s Bush.
Anyway..
Declan was a HUGE part of the Shepetds bush Community. One of ours always💚🧡 sadly missed by all. Everyone in shock about a true Donegal QPR legend!!
RIP our brother . gone but never forgotten!
