Declan worked at New Moon for nearly 20 years. He was extremely popular with customers and other staff members alike. You were always guaranteed a good chat and plenty of laughs if Declan was around. Customers loved him because he instinctively knew how to help people pick the right piece of jewellery. He was wonderfully patient, especially with difficult customers. His motto when dealing with a customer complaint was 'kill them with kindness'. He had a mischievous sense of humour, and we all loved his for it.
Declan enriched all our lives and he was a big part of our success. We'll be lost without him.
