He was a fabulous man, who had a positive impact on everyone he met. I am happy to have had the privilege of knowing him.

Will always remember our soccer matches out the back, and tennis matches down the road. Going into Spar after for a Bounty bar and an Orange. You taught me that if my favorite team won the match to cheer loudly... but if they lost deny the match even happened. We wish we could be there today. We will come visit you as soon as we are able. Very sad to hear about Deckie, every memory i have of him makes me smile. Will be thinking of him today and also thinking of my dad and aunts and uncles. Take care of each other, wish we could be there.

Deckie was always the life of the party, very sad he has left us but happy for him to be reunited with Mam and Willie. Will miss our tennis matches together. All of us who got to interact with Deckie are better people cause of it. Will miss you!
