I am so sorry to have only heard on Sunday about your Dads sad passing. As you have read from the condolences he was a much loved colleague and friend to all of us who knew him in Tegral. His sense of humour and fun was remembered and missed long after he retired. He was one of life's true gentlemen. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Dear Ali and all your family, our condolences to you on the passing of your dear dad, Declan. He was so good to us as Architecture Students hosting those fun visits to Athy. He was a hospitable man, always generous to colleagues with his time and expertise. Ar dhéis Dé go raibh a anam dhilís.

Dec was a dear and long-time friend of the Gallastegui family and we remember him fondly.

Sincere condolences to all the Grehan family on Declan's passing - he was a patient of ours for many many years and himself and Alicia will not be forgotten!!!

So sorry to hear of Declan's passing. Condolences to all the Grehan family, he was always a very welcome visitor to Richelieu, trying to cajole us onto the running track or even just up off the sofa for a game of something or other. Both your parents were wonderful friends to ours and we remember them fondly and often. Hopefully they are calling in on each other again, and Ned and Declan (the pessimist and the optimist) are renewing their friendship.
