I only heard about Declans passing on my return from holidays. Sincere condolences to All of his Family. I had many a good evening in Declans company discussing his beloved Chelsea and football in general. I also had some good chats with him last year during his stay in St Vincents Hospital. May he Rest In Peace.

So sad and shocked to hear of Declan's passing. He was a colleague in Dublin County Council and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council. A really lovely man and great fun.

So sorry for your loss Amie and to the extended Harpur family. Ur dad was my neighbour for over ten years, many a good chat with Declan and great fond memories, a true gentleman.
