Aideen. Very sorry to hear about Dec. I grew up in Anglesea Pk in the 80's and I tried to learn the Guitar from him at one point. I now live in Springhill and of course we were looking forward to the return. About four years ago I was at the 59 bus stop and he spotted me and stopped to give me a lift. At that stage we hadn't met in over 15 years - such was the kind nature of the guy. You and the kids & the wider family are in our thoughts at this time. Joe

It was with great shock and deep sorrow that we heard of Declan's sudden and unexpected death. We have known and worked with him for over thirty years and in that time he was always considerate, patient and helpful with us.We never met his family but knew about them from the many times he spoke of them as we worked together.
