Declan Monaghan

I had the pleasure of meeting Declan two years ago and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. What a fabulous man who touched so many hearts on his journey here, may you rest in peace x

Cant believe the news of Declan's passing. Hardly seen him since leaving college in the 90's however was in touch virtually through FB. He was popular, witty, talented and good humoured but when I think of him now I am remembering that most importantly he was gentle and kind and I'm so sad he is gone. Oh dear, so sorry at the news of Declan’s passing. A wonderful talent and person snatched from us too early. There were still so many photo opps, shoots and events to work on post-Covid. So sorry he’s gone. He created wonderful eye catching photos at events and PR launches for my events and my clients and was always lovely to work with. We’re going to miss him greatly in Galway. I am totally shocked at Declan's passing. I am genuinely gutted. I didn't know he was ill. I first met Declan about 15 years ago in Galway. Like me a fellow Dub. Was a really nice guy and a gentleman. He was always friendly and in great humour and in recent years would tell me about his latest escapades with his band whenever I would bump into him in Shop Street. A great lad.
