Sorry for your loss. Knew Declan in my teens, he was a great character and later met him in London with my friend Alan O’Mahoney.
My deepest condolences to Walter Maria and Mairead. Best friends through teenage years Into early twenties. Many Many happy memories from foreign holidays to playing football on the green, and causing havoc for Peggy and Mairead with the loud music in the front room! He was a special friend to me through those years, an amazing, charismatic guy, and I’m saddened that we lost touch.
An absolute gentleman. Best friends with my older brother Alan, cousin to my friends the McGuires. Very sad.
