An amazing man has left this world way too soon. I can’t begin to express how sorry myself and Pat are at this very sad and difficult time. Declan, was a true Mourne View legend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.I have nothing but the best memories of him especially as a young boy who had the most gorgeous smile, We adored him, as we do the whole Walsh family. He got the most amazing send of today, and it was a privilege to be there to see his amazing family pay tribute to one of the best!! We will miss him from the pier @ No 2 just wont be the same without him...forever in our hearts Dec. Sending much love to beautiful Audrey and the entire Walsh family.... you did him proud today!!. Well what can I say that already hasn't been said! A true gentleman, funny smart and always the big smile. I'm devastated beyond words. it's been a pleasure to have known Deco over the last 20 years and particularly in the last year through work. I will miss those early am chats in the airport or the cups of tea at 4 or 5am in his house while waiting for the next run and even at that hour he would still be in great form laughing and joking while I'd still be half asleep 😀 I hope his family find comfort in knowing just what a great guy he was to everyone that knew him ..RIP my friend .
