Dee, to me you will always be an enabler of madness and fun. Producing three, nine pound boned and rolled turkeys for a Christmas themed camp in July.

Deirdre was such a kind, loyal and thoughtful person who brought a smile to the Crescent - always willing to help. She was a fun childhood friend and a lovely adult. She was sadly missed when she left Harlech Crescent. I hope happy memories will help you all in the years ahead.

Both Deirdre and Pat were so kind and caring towards myself and Andrew and when they became "Nana and Pops" to Finn, Deirdre couldn't have been be a prouder grandmother.

Sincere condolences to Simon, Zoe, Finn and extended family. Deirdre was my friend for 32 years and herself and Pat were the best of neighbours. The door of the Black household was always open and there was a warm welcome to anyone who called. It was a house full of love and fun and my family were so lucky to have been welcomed into it. As a young mother, Deirdre's friendship, kindness and support were invaluable and she was so kind to my son's who loved her dearly. Rest together now in peace Dee and Pat

Zoe and Simon. I am very sorry for your loss. I spoke to Dee not that long ago when she told me she was sick but I had no idea that she was so bad as she was so positive!

Sorry for your loss Simon, Zoe and Finn. Dee will be missed. But now reunited with her beloved Pat.

Our thoughts are with you Simon and Zoe. I have known Deidre since playing at her family home in Deerpark. She was such great support to us when we were a young family ourselves. Deirdre and Pat will both be missed.
