So sad to hear of Dee's untimely death. We used to stop and chat when we'd bump into each other. My memories of her go back to schooldays, we were near neighbours too, and she really hadn't changed. Funny, gregarious, kind. My deepest sympathies to Richie, Nuala and Shane.

I have so many fond memories of the welcome in Standhouse Road if just for a coffee or an evening. Much singing, laughter, heart felt kindness and good people. Her fierce dedication and kindness in caring for her mother at home are the mark of the woman. My thoughts are with Shane, Richie and Nuala at this difficult time. Rest in Peace Dee until we meet again for a good old evening in and plenty of singing.

She was always such a gentle, inoffensive and fun-loving person, from schooldays right through to recent times, when we often met while out shopping etc. Remember meeting her while travelling to Galway by train some time ago, and she entertained us throughout the journey, full of chat, good humour and recalling memories of earlier years. It was with deep regret that i heard of dees sad passing. Hers was a kind and gentle soul who made time for all those she met on life's journey.
