Sincere sympathy to Vincent, Catriona and family on the sad loss of your mother, Deirdre. I have great memories of herself and Seamus since I first met them way back in 1978. She was, indeed, in the early 60s, a much loved teacher to my wife Margaret, in the Tipperary Town, Technical School. May she rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear of Deirdres passing. I enjoyed the craic with Deirdre over the years when we were up for the festival. She was absolutely hilarious & made the week for me. She won't be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Deirdre's death R.I.P. Have many memories of both Deirdre and Seamus in the years I spent working in Miltown Malbay. My first encounter was probably in January 1983 when myself and another colleague Catherine had a joint 21st Birthday at The Malbay. We had a great night full of laughter and craic and I think Big G was our DJ for the night. It was well after midnight when we toddled down the Flag Road and home to our beds which we didn't really see until much later into the night. Two great characters reunited now in their Heavenly Home. The Bed of Heaven to them both. My sympathies to Vincent and all the family. As they say, Miltown's Loss is Heaven's Gain.
