I am so very to hear of Deirdre's death. We were friends in Fairview School many years ago and made our First Holy Communion together. She was a lovely, gentle girl and when I bumped into her over the years in Swords, I realised that she never changed. To her children and all her family, I offer my deepest condolences.

I was lucky enough to have Deirdre play an unforgettable and big part in my life when we were young and foolish teenagers , as we spent some great times together and some hard too when she lost her lovely sister Joyce ... I have never forgotten Deirdre and never will , that beautiful smile and her pleasant easy going nature is hard to forget ....
I'm sure she will be sadly missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know her ...

Dear Michelle, Kevin and family. I was so sorry to hear about your wonderful mam.

She was a very dear friend to me. Myself and De met each other on the first night we joined the Choir. We found out we both lived in Swords and we went on to be the best of friends. The rest is as they say history.

She was a wonderful person inside and out. She was always positive even with all she was going through. I will miss our chats over tea and cream cakes, which she insisted Lauren and I share.

It was with immense sadness l learned of Dee's passing. Condolences to all her family. Dee was a wonderful member of the choir I'm in. She always had a smile on her face & was always willing to help others. We miss her so in the sopranos. May she rest in peace..shes singing with the angels now in heaven.

Dee was one of my dearest friends. We met at Fingal gospel choir on my first night. She had a beautiful voice, a true Soprano!

Dee always had time for a cuppa and a chat and gave great advice. She had stunning style and was always beautiful inside and out. Throughout her illness myself and Ger would pop up in to see her for tea and a catchup and we were always blown away with her positive attitude. She always wanted to hear the latest on the wedding planning and had not one but two stunning outfits ready to go for it. I felt she was there with us celebrating this Saturday and I was looking forward to going to see her this week. We will miss her terribly. RIP Dee xxx
