I have very fond memories of our weekly Friday lunches in CRC which my daughter Aoife loved, we had such good times. Deirdre was a lovely person and a pleasure to be with. RIP Deirdre.

I have so many fond memories of Deirdre from my childhood. She was so kind to children and always interested to hear a story or listen to a song. I remember her teaching me ‘All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth’. Visiting her on Halloween, and arriving in my Communion dress to her beautiful house - whatever the occasion she always had time for children. And no matter how grown up you became she was still interested in what you were doing. Always beautifully dressed and with a lovely smile and an infectious laugh. Deirdre - you were truly such a lovely woman. You will live on in our hearts. Thinking of Seán, Seán Jnr. , David, Clíona and of course Jimmy today. May your children and grandchildren carry your memory on Deirdre. Xox.
